I am very
pleased to announce that my first novel has finally gone through its last
revision and seen its last edit! At least until an agent, and/or publisher,
tells me otherwise. But I'm at a point where I can finally set it down and am
satisfied with my work.
Now I
just have to hogtie an agent. There’s always the self-publishing route, but I
want to give the traditional road its due.
Special
thanks to...
Roger
Paulding, for encouragement, professional support and editing. Glad I was able
to expand your vocabulary, thank you for helping me find a more active voice.
Chris Rogers, for holding a wonderful and educational class at the Women's Institute
of Houston, and for offering great insight into bettering my novel and finding
the key areas in need of work.
The Houston Writers Guild, for providing great feedback and keeping me on a routine
and schedule, forcing me to stay productive.
My
Family, for all your love and support, from my father who's picked up fantasy
novels in an effort to understand my genre and all the wackiness of my
fictional worlds, to my mother for always having an encouraging word and
willing to go the extra mile helping me. Thank you very much for understanding
my love of writing and lifting it up.
