Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Holy hectic holidays
Batman, that was nuts! Let me give you a quick breakdown of my holiday schedule…
- · Christmas Eve…spent with my mother’s side of the family
- · Later Christmas Eve…spent the night at my parent’s house (along with my sister)
- · Christmas Morning…morning with family enjoying hot chocolate, coffee cake and gifts
- · Noon/Afternoon…spent with my father’s side of the family
- · Late Afternoon…2 hours of breathing time
- · Evening…dinner and party with my godmother’s family
If I hadn’t already planned to add exercise and healthier
eating habits to my list of New Year’s resolutions, they’d be there now. Holy
cow such amazing food! And wonderful people. Granted, my opinion’s biased, but
I have the most amazing, loving and supportive family anyone could ask for.
I’ll be glad to put 2013 behind us though. I feel a little
like I’ve been standing in the eye of a hurricane watching the storm wreck
things around me. A lot of my friends and family have had an absolutely
terrible year and we’re all eager to see the start of 2014.
This year is set to go off with a pretty amazing start. I’m
not one for omens and signs but I’ll take this one. 2014 begins with a New
Moon. This is a pretty rare occurrence that’s supposed to symbolize new
beginnings, so here’s to new beginnings.
That's pretty neat about the New Moon! Sounds like you had an amazing Christmas vacation. I have my resolutions ready for 2014 :)
ReplyDeleteThanks a ton! I still need to write out my resolutions...maybe I should add "quit procrastinating" to the list...
